Wine Critics Notes:
Allen Meadows - Score: 92(2016 October)
There is a curious hint of lactic character so I would suggest decanting this if you're going to try a bottle young. Otherwise the refined, reserved and beautifully textured flavors possess first-rate power, intensity and detail while delivering very fine persistence on the balanced finish. This doesn't quite have the same underlying material as the best in the range but it is certainly a MdT of refinement and class.
